“Toward The Storm” è un viaggio oscuro e introspettivo nel cuore della fragilità umana. Attraverso atmosfere doom/death metal lente e opprimenti, gli Ilienses Tree esplorano temi come l’alienazione, il dolore, la perdita di identità e la resistenza interiore. I testi ritraggono una lotta costante contro il vuoto, la vergogna, la paura e la sconfitta, bilanciata da un disperato bisogno di guarigione e di significato.
La tempesta rappresenta una metafora dell’inevitabile confronto con i propri demoni interiori, non una fuga, ma una scelta consapevole. Un album cupo, emozionante e profondamente umano, dove la sofferenza si trasforma in voce.
L’emozione gioca un ruolo centrale: ogni canzone diventa una riflessione personale, quasi confessionale, sospesa tra la disperazione e il bisogno di redenzione.
Con l’uscita di “Toward The Storm”, la band definisce chiaramente la propria identità artistica.

On May 1, 2026, the new full-length album by Doom Death Metal band Ilienses Tree, Toward the Storm, will be released on Belgian label Meuse Music Records.
“Toward the Storm” is a dark and introspective journey into the heart of human fragility. Through slow and oppressive doom/death metal atmospheres, Ilienses Tree explore themes of alienation, pain, loss of identity, and inner resistance. The lyrics portray a constant struggle against emptiness, shame, fear, and defeat, balanced by a desperate need for healing and meaning.
The storm represents a metaphor for the inevitable confrontation with one’s inner demons; not an escape, but a conscious choice. A dark, emotional, and deeply human album, where suffering becomes a voice.
Emotion plays a central role: each song becomes a personal, almost confessional reflection, suspended between desperation and the need for redemption.
With the release of “Toward The Storm,” the band clearly defines their artistic identity.
The live show will be an opportunity to present the album live, and THE BLACKTONES will be on stage alongside Ilienses Tree, with stage design by DEVOTION!
